In celebration of the successful one-year anniversary since the launch of five additional IRP portals and the e-invoice QR Code Verifier app, GSTN is thrilled to announce the unveiling of the revamped e-invoice master information portal at https://einvoice.gst.gov.in. This update marks a significant step forward in our continuous efforts to enhance taxpayer services.

Here’s a rundown of the exciting new features introduced:

1. PAN-Based Search: Now, users can effortlessly check the e-invoice enablement status of entities using their Permanent Account Number (PAN), alongside the existing GSTIN search option.

2. Automatic E-Invoice Exemption List: The portal now automatically updates and publishes a list of all GSTINs that have filed for e-invoice exemptions at the beginning of each month. This list is readily available for download by users.

3. Global Search Bar: A newly introduced comprehensive search tab allows for swift access to information across the entire portal, making navigation a breeze.

4. Local Search Capabilities: Enjoy enhanced search functionality within advisories, FAQs, manuals, and other sections, ensuring efficient and quick access to information.

5. Revamped Advisory and FAQ Section: Organized in a user-friendly year-wise and month-wise format for easy reference, providing users with comprehensive guidance.

6. Daily IRN Count Statistics: Stay informed with daily statistics on the generation count of Invoice Reference Numbers (IRNs) right on the portal.

7. Dedicated Section on Mobile App: Find all the information and support you need for the e-invoice QR Code Verifier app conveniently in one dedicated section.

8. Improved Accessibility Compliance and UI/UX: Following GIWG guidelines, the portal now offers enhanced features such as contrast adjustment, text resizing buttons, and screen reader support for improved accessibility.

9. Updated Website Policy: The website policy has undergone thorough updates, covering aspects such as website archival policy, content management & moderation policy, and details of the web information manager.

In the past year alone, over 1.6 crore e-invoices were reported through the new IRPs, showcasing the robustness and efficiency of the system. Additionally, GSTN has introduced an internal e-invoice comprehensive health dashboard to further bolster monitoring of the e-invoice ecosystem.

Here are some key highlights of the GSTN E-Invoicing System improvements:

1. Expansion of IRP Portals: Currently, GSTN operates a total of six IRP portals through its partners, running seamlessly alongside the centralized de-duplication system.

2. E-Invoicing Reporting Accessibility: All eligible taxpayers can now report e-invoices through any of these six IRP portals. This reporting can be done online, via APIs, or through a user-friendly mobile app, all at no cost, ensuring accessibility and convenience for taxpayers nationwide.

3. Hourly Auto-population of E-Invoices in GSTR-1: Working in collaboration with NIC-IRP, GSTN is set to enable hourly auto-population of e-invoices in GSTR-1 reported on the NIC-IRP 1&2 portal.

4. E-Invoice Download for Past Six Months: Both buyers and sellers can now easily download e-invoices for the past six months via e-invoice portals and G2B APIs.

5. E-Invoice QR Code Verifier App: A dedicated app is available for the verification of e-invoices, along with a search IRN functionality for convenient online verification of IRNs.

Furthermore, an enhanced version of the e-invoice verifier app, packed with exciting new features, will be launched shortly.
